Front Office Assistant
Christy Gunnell
Christy grew up an army brat moving more than ten times before the age of thirteen. She loved living on army bases in Heidelberg, Yokohama, and San Francisco, but calls Columbia, SC home, having lived here more than 25 years.

Involved in nonprofit work most of her life, Christy’s passion is to see others find new life in Jesus. She speaks enough Spanish to “get her into trouble,” loves hiking, aerobics, and eating Mexican food with friends. (Hence the need for hiking and aerobics.)
Always amazed at God’s grace and sufficiency in her weakness, one of Christy’s favorite verses is 2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
When you stop by or call the church office, she would love to hear your favorite places to hike in the mountains and view waterfalls.
