SandKidz (Infants-5th Grade)
Connie Edwards

Connie was born and raised in a small town in Southwest Virginia. She later went on to study at Liberty University in Virginia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health promotions, followed by a master’s degree in public health. Although her passion is still strong for health education, God opened the door for her to work in children’s ministry at Sandhills beginning in 2015. Her favorite part of her job is helping to grow the next generation in their faith in Jesus, loving on the awesome volunteers, and knowing that she is serving a God bigger than her car problems.

Connie and her family moved to SC in 2013 and she gave birth to her one and only daughter, Zoie. They began attending Sandhills that same year after a miraculous discovery of the church through the car wash outreach. She and Zoie stay busy tending to their farm with a variety of animals, as well as enjoy many activities outdoors and reading. She is learning to “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12
