Jac was born in Southern California where he played in bands, learned some hard lessons, encountered Jesus in his late teens, and became a Christ-follower. Later he met Susan, the most wonderful woman in the world, and convinced her to marry him. Soon after they moved to South Carolina and had daughter Julia. Jac studied music at Southern Wesleyan and the University of South Carolina and continued serving as a volunteer musician and worship leader, eventually moving into full-time ministry. He has been at Sandhills Community Church since 2005 and really enjoys the music and arts teams he gets to work with each day. He is grateful for the grace and mercy found in Christ each day. Jac’s responsibilities at Sandhills are to organize and lead the music/arts for weekend services and aid the pastor in planning and implementing weekend worship services. He also helps to develop and help the sound/light/video team leaders as well as assisting with the drama team.
