Taylor Thigpen

Taylor was born and raised in Columbia, SC.  She graduated from Columbia International University in 2013 with her Masters of Art in Education and went on to teach in Richland 2 for 7 years. Taylor and her husband have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful daughters.  Their family joined Sandhills in 2017 after serving for 4 years at a Military Chapel at Fort Jackson.  Taylor has served in several family ministry roles at Sandhills as well as leading the meal team ministry.  Taylor has a passion for working with children with diverse needs to not only teach them but also to love, and instill the love of Christ in them. She is excited to see how God will continue to use her and others to grow the Unique Needs Ministry.
